S Scale (3/16" - 12")
On this page there are listed a range of items produced for Modellers in S gauge. As stated elsewhere we are not currently producing these items but some may still be in stock. It is our intention to eventully produce these items to a level that would maintain a constant stock, however until that time due to the narrow appeal of this scale we will only produce items as time allows or if there is sufficient demand to produce the economic quantities.
Steam Locomotive Driving Wheels
A small selection of locomotive driving wheels for the S gauge modeller. They comprise a black ABS moulded plastic centre which is pressed in to a bright steel tyre that has been turned to the recommended S gauge profile. No balance weights are fitted and they are supplied packed as a pair of wheels with a 1/8" steel axle.

Steam Locomotive Bogie and Tender Wheels
To complement the above range of S gauge locomotive driving wheelswe also market a small range of bogie / tender wheels. Like our 4mm scale bogie and tender wheels they are based on given prototypes but they can be used with confidence on most locomotives. The wheels consist of a black ABS moulded plastic centre which is pressed in to a bright steel tyre that has been turned to the recommended S gauge profile. They are supplied packed as a pair of unmounted wheels together with a 2mm diameter inside bearing axle and a 2mm diameter (30.5mm long) outside pinpoint axle.

Carriage and Wagon Wheels
These wheels follows the established method of manufacture in having detailed black ABS moulded plastic centres which are pressed in to chemically blackened steel tyres, precision turned to the recommended S gauge profile. They are supplied mounted on a 2mm diameter chemically blackened steel pin-point axle (30.5mm long) Prices are for 2 wheels on one axle.

Wagon Strapping
A sheet of etched wagon strapping containing all the necessary styles of strapping found on wooden bodied goods wagons.Etched in 0.018" brass, the sheet has been designed to provide sufficient strapping for three different types of vehicles, a 5 plankopen wagon, a 7 plank open wagon and any one of numerous types of goodsvan. All that is required is to provide a body in either metal, plasticard, marine ply etc and or course a chassis.
